Grenfell Tower

In 2017, a devastating fire engulfed Grenfell Tower, a residential block in West London, in the aftermath of the of high levels of incompetence in the buildings renovasions. The enduring effects of this tragedy still loom large, particularly as West Kensington are marked by significant class disparities.

This series of images, captured within a year of the fire, documents the remarkable response of the community as they rallied together in the absence of substantial aid from authorities, particularly at the height of the fire. It stands as a testament to the resilience and unity of the people, which greatly inspired me.
